The Valve Nut is designed to save you time by being able to open a manual valve with the ease of a drill or nut runner. No more having to break your back opening and closing valves. Just pop the hand wheel off and let the Valve Nut do the work for you. The Valve Nuts are made of heavy-duty alloys, hardened and blackened for maximum durability. We make two different sets; one is for valves which use a key to turn the shaft and another for valves which use a pin or bolt to turn the shaft. Depending on the size and condition of the valve you are operating, we suggest you use a mixing drill, 1/2″ pneumatic nut runner or 3/4″ pneumatic nut runner.
The Valve Nut can be used to:
- *Aid in the Valve Assembly and Disassembly Process
- *Operate Valves, open and close
- *Remove and Install Gearboxes
The Valve Nut is designed so you can use it to operate the valve to your desired position and put the hand wheel back on the valve or you could leave the Valve Nut as a permanent fixture on the valve. Each nut has a set screw on it. You can install and remove the Valve Nut off at your leisure.
